I am looking to speak to Community Managers to join an exciting Digital Consultancy start-up in London.
Likely to be a blend of digital marketing (social media, newsletters etc), content production and events – the clients hope is to quickly scale their community and to raise awareness of what they do.
A budget will be pre-arranged at the start of every quarter and is the community manager’s to spend.
This client is a company with no real brand meaning yet – this is a hugely important role to establishing and owning their town of voice.
What you will have….
Someone who is a natural ‘collector’ and ‘connector’ of people – who enjoys opening their own network and letting others do the same.
A natural ability to curate is really helpful – the ability to cut through complexity, noise and buzz and to have an instinct on what resonates with people.
Someone who has worked with agencies and the design community before would have a natural advantage but this isn’t a minimum requirement. Likewise, an interest in topics around business and design helps, as this is what most of the clients immediate network will be talking about and interested in.
This person will be one of the most prominent faces of a brand that the client hopes will soon be international – the way they engage the community (which is up to them) will say a lot about brand values.
