A fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing, City AM Leap 100 listed independent media & marketing agency specialising in working with premium and luxury brands. With a client list encompassing a focused group of ambitious and successful brands, the role offers the opportunity to work across premium fashion houses, luxury beauty, jewellery, travel, home and property brands (including Charlotte Tilbury, Lacoste footwear, Land Securities, Kurt Geiger, Monsoon & Accessorize, Wacoal lingerie and Arlo & Jacob). This agency provide fully integrated multimedia marketing consultancy services, communications planning, media buying as well as influencer strategy & campaign delivery.
Exceptional client servicing, strategic & creative thinking, and first class campaign trading & delivery is at the forefront of the business and they are looking for an ambitious Client Director to help them drive further growth within a varied and hugely rewarding role where you will gain exposure to & shape their approach to all elements of marketing & media. They expect real entrepreneurial spirit in all their team whether it’s within their new business drive, service diversification, or client strategy.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Client Director has overall responsibility for developing an understanding of the agency’s clients business and ensuring marketing projects are delivered on time and on budget. They will own research & insight, strategy, planning, buying, campaign management, analysis & reporting back on all campaigns for their clients and be the main day to day contact for them on all matters. Beyond this, development of key relationships with both media owners, clients, and partner agencies is critical. Identifying & capitalising on new revenue opportunities with existing clients and new prospects is also central to the role.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced and adaptable candidate to work across multiple premium & luxury fashion, accessory, restaurant, travel and home specialist accounts. Delivering truly integrated & market leading work, the Client Director must be comfortable working across all media channels and be able to show planning, buying, trading & negotiation experience. They agency runs standard media campaigns, ROI led campaigns, content-oriented partnerships, social campaigns, data projects, strategy projects so an interest in all these areas is essential.
A core responsibility of the role will be developing relationships with other senior internal colleagues, to ensure client work is delivered effectively, drawing on expertise around the business to offer the best possible solutions. Their clients trust them to help position their brands, but also to lead analysis & measurement of campaign success – an understanding of the analytical side of media & advertising is therefore essential.
The role promises a fast paced but extremely rewarding position and as a key member of their small team, the successful candidate must be able to lead with gravitas.
What you will have….
*Proven leadership experience, managing a small but growing team is a big part of the role.
*Excellent attention to detail, you’ll be process driven – managing and prioritising your workload to the best of your ability
*Demonstrate keen insight into the media landscape and also be able to add value with a process driven analytical approach to briefs and media plans
*Develop holistic communications and media strategies, plan and deliver first class campaigns for their clients, monitoring and reporting across all elements of the campaigns
*Negotiating both traditional and non-traditional media partnerships, obtaining maximum value in all negotiations
*Knowledge and experience of planning and buying across all media channels
*An interest in the creative side of media planning – understanding how content or bespoke creative concepts can help lift or lead an advertising campaign
*Strong client servicing experience, excellent presentation skills and confidence in front of an audience
*Facilitating the development of the account team, teaching, guiding and nurturing a team, to further their knowledge and experience, developing the junior team members into strong and confident account managers
*Support in new business opportunities / pitches as required
