About the role

Business growth is key on their agenda, & this Chief Operating Officer position is critical in shaping and developing an ambitious & commercial operating plan, which will in turn enable the organisation to achieve sustainable financial growth. This role is a unique opportunity for a values led individual to join the organisation at an exciting time.

As Chief Operating Officer, you will be a pivotal member of the senior leadership team, reporting to and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer. Ultimately the role will be accountable for delivering the annual operating plan to target & delivering the organisation’s corporate strategy. Financial sustainability and organisational development will be key, as well as the leadership and professional management of the operations, IT, marketing, sales & finance functions.

Using your highly honed business planning and risk management expertise, you will ensure process, systems and organisation structure are “fit for purpose” and underpin operations for success. Likewise, you will utilise your financial acumen combined with contemporary industry knowledge to provide strategic direction & innovation.

About you

They are seeking an exceptional individual with a successful track record of leading a senior team within a challenging, commercial & complex environment. You will have demonstrable experience of leading change & transformation with tangible growth results balanced by a positive employee culture. With vision & flair to your approach, you will have outstanding communication & influencing skills to engage a wide range of key stakeholders. Ultimately to succeed in this role, you must be able to demonstrate a passion for the business & share an empathy with both the employees & the customer.
