Do you offer CV advice?
Yes, see our CV page - if
you are interviewing for one of our clients we will also offer
verbal and face to face advice.
How many recruitment partners should I choose?
Either work exclusively or pick a small number, but the more you choose the
more time you will need to spend making sure you know who is
sending your CV where and relevant due diligence on
quality.
How should I manage recruitment companies?
Choose a partner well and build a trusted partnership. Make sure
people do not send your CV anywhere without permission. With
technology being as it is managing control of your CV could be
critical in managing your "personal brand" during the job
search.
Where should I put my CV to protect my privacy?
DO NOT load your CV on public domain job boards
if you are employed. Job boards offer access for relatively small
amounts of cash and you don't want your boss finding you! If you
are looking more urgently (ie you have been made redundant) this
can work but bear in mind you may be bombarded by recruiters.
How easy is it for me to move sector in my new job?
Often a tricky question and depends on how close you wish to
play to your strengths. If you are looking for a total departure
from your previous career, remember that recruitment companies are
driven by clients' requirements which often include specific
requirements and experience.
When will I hear from Adam about a role I've applied for?
We value our candidates and so endeavour to come back to you
acknowledging your application as soon as possible.
Are there any jobs at Adam? Why should I choose Adam to work with?
We hope we've given you lots of reasons on this website; one
reason most people enjoy is that we don't over complicate our role,
we have high ethics and values and make the process as transparent
as possible. To discuss a role or requirement, please contact us
Who does Adam charge for their services?
Our clients pay Adam a percentage of a successful
candidate's first year salary. Candidates pay nothing (we would
advise you to stay away from agencies that charge candidates as the
modern market doesn't require this).
