During one of my daily browses through Twitter recently, I noticed that James Crawford of PR Agency One was looking for guest bloggers to start a series of blogs from people within the marketing industry, dubbed 'An Outside Vew'.

I have a lot of applications to my roles from recent graduates and as much as I would like to give them all thorough advice on how to secure their first role, having up to 200 applications for one junior role you can imagine how difficult this is to do. So I got to thinking, rather than post a blog here alone, why not guest blog and get some good advice in front of as many people as possible?
